  1. Thank you Toby and Heidi for your insights and information. This was really balanced. I'm reading so many comments asking what's the point of trusting a custodian to hold one's gold, all the more so when one wouldn't trust crypto to a custodian. Gold and crypto are very different assets. How many reputable gold custodians made off with their clients' gold? None as far as I know. Quality gold storage facilities are regulated and insured, which lessens the risks of gold storage. Also, Bitcoin is probably never going to become the world's most desirable asset. And if it does- that will be a massive bubble which will eventually pop. Yes I invest in Bitcoin, but we need to keep in mind that the reason Bitcoin is currency and a store of value is because we believe it to be. Another crypto or future type of asset could take its place, we need to remember that. It's not smart to have most of your wealth in a single asset class, let alone a single asset. You will never have absolute control over your assets either. Governments could make laws which affect your rights to use/sell your property as you see fit, crypto is subject to technological advancements and there are risks in any custodial relationship. When people are too 'doom and gloom' focused, they can miss out on a lot of good investment opportunities. So diversify, minimise risk, but know there is no such thing as risk free or complete control. That's just my thoughts anyway, thanks for reading.

  2. Mike Maloney's biggest crypto holdings is EOS! He stated that pretty firmly in his recent interview with Dan Larimer. It is hard to see for a simple mind, but EOS is actually the best crypto out there. I dug really deep into it lately. All the fud is intentional BS. Wait for the bull run congestions and fees to really kick in…and people realising EOS has NO fees and can handle lightning speed for smart contracts, defi, payments,…. Actually it is the only platform out there where DEFI can run seamlessly when the bull run mass traffic comes. Try it.
    GO EOS!!!

  3. Why buy gold? There might be an island or a continent-size of gold under somewhere in this planet, not to mention mining gold from outerspace. While there will only be 21M of btc, after that, no mo.

  4. I have some mates that are looking into selling physical gold right now – I asked why as the predictions say gold is going to the moon. They both replied that’s the point and they don’t trust what going to happen to the economy next.
